Being Greener - RefuseDon't buy products with excess packaging or that are shipped around the world, grown with chemicals etc. Don't take the bag when they offer, get a re-useable one! The True Food Co-op sells local food, it has tetrapak recycling facility, lots of loose goods, you can refill your own containers, refill station for bottles. etc. Only put things that are really safe rubbish in your landfill bin, think if you could avoid them in the first place. Make sure that anything electrical or potentially harmful to the environment is taken to a waste management centre from proper disposal, not put into landfill.
